It was another winning weekend for Team Bath Netball in the 2021 Vitality Superleague as they recorded back-to-back victories over defending champions Manchester Thunder and West Country rivals Severn Stars.

The Haines Watts-sponsored Blue & Gold produced an outstanding performance on Friday to record an emphatic 60-35 victory over Thunder, who were the league’s only other unbeaten team going into the match.

Rengen Player of the Match Kim Borger and University of Bath sporting scholar Sophie Drakeford-Lewis both recorded 100 per cent conversion rates going for goal, while Team Bath were magnificent in defence against a dangerous Thunder side. Watch the Sky Sports highlights here:

Team Bath were back on court less than 24 hours later to face a Stars side lifted by recording their first win of the season on Friday.
