New Player Development Programme and Futures squads mean nearly 100 aspiring netballers now benefit from Team Bath coaching

Team Bath Netball have named three additional squads designed to help retain and develop more talent from across the South West, as well as provide a link between NPL and Super League squads.

The Player Development Programme (PDP) is split into two squads, Junior for U17s and Senior for U19s, while the Team Bath Futures squad – featuring a host of University of Bath students and graduates – is for U23 players who have progressed beyond the U21 age group.

They will play a number of matches during the season, with the Futures players also providing training opposition for the Super League squad.

The PDP and Futures squads complement the U17, U19 and U21 NPL squads, meaning that nearly 100 young netballers are benefitting from high-quality training and competition with Team Bath this season.

Natalie Roddy, Team Bath’s Academy Head Coach, said: “These squads are an exciting addition to our programme. They really demonstrate the amount of talent within our pathway now and for the future.”

Junior PDP squad: Daisie Ball, Ella Bickford, Lucy Blake, Lucy Crawford, Sophie Drake, Zara Gibson, Olivia Hewlett, Isabella Lofthouse, Ruby Mills, Lois Moore, Matilda Mortimore, Isabelle Moxham, Yosita O’Connor, Freya Squibb, Grace Thomson, Ava Truscott, Sophie Vaughan, Imogen Vine, Emily Wilson.

Senior PDP squad: Izzy Baker, Belle Baylis, Amellia Cottam, Louisa Davidson, Keira Elliott, Mae Haines, Libby Lavender, Sienna Le Moine, Sarah Long, Beth Mawer, Zoe Maynard, Anastasia Moore, Matilda Moore, Isabel Ord, Olivia Phillips, Skyla Ramus, Olivia Veale.

Team Bath Futures squad: Isabelle Claxton, Camryn Dyson, Nia Evans, Georgina Ford, Becky Griffin, Charlotte Jennings-Evans, Skye Lynch, Ellen Morgan, Emma Payne, Izavella Pennycooke, Megan Pilkington, Lottie Robinson, Poppy Tydeman, Lauren Wilkinson.
