Team Bath Netball coach, player and supporters among finalists in 2020 Netball South West Goalden Globes Awards

Team Bath Netball Academy Head Coach Natalie Roddy and Futures Pathway player Alice Clark are both among the regional finalists in the 2020 Goalden Globe Netball Volunteer Awards.

Roddy, who is also chairman of Team Bath Community Netball Club, is shortlisted for the Muriel McNally Grassroots award in the Netball South West Goalden Globes.

Clark, who trains with Team Bath’s Somerset Hub at Millfield School, is a finalist in the Young Volunteer category for her work at Axe Vale Netball in Devon, where she assists with coaching players in all age groups. She also umpires U14 and U16 fixtures in Exeter, as well as mentoring other young officials.

Also in the running for a Goalden Globe is Sarah Lewis, a volunteer at Team Bath Netball matches who is a nominee in both the Mary Bulloch Administrator and Sheelagh Redpath Grassroots Official categories.

Danny Neill, who supports Team Bath with match officials for Superleague and NPL matches, joins Roddy on the Muriel McNally Grassroots shortlist and Nadia Edyvean, who was a coach with the Cornwall Hub, is a contender for the Teacher award.

The Goalden Globes celebrate the outstanding contributions made by volunteers to netball across the region and the country. Winners of the Netball South West awards will go forward to the National finals hosted by England Netball.
