All set for first netball of 2024 at Team Bath Arena as capacity crowd heads to Tri-Tournament

A capacity crowd will enjoy the first netball of 2024 at the Team Bath Arena on Sunday when the pre-season Tri-Tournament takes place.

Team Bath Netball, London Pulse and local rivals Severn Stars will contest a round-robin competition during an action-packed afternoon, with the eventual overall winners being presented with the Lyn Gunson Trophy.

It will be a first opportunity for home fans to see Australian shooter Sloan Burton in action for Team Bath following her arrival in the country over New Year. Joining her in the match-day squad are fellow overseas import Lisa Putt, Emma Barrie, Ellie Ervine and George Ford – all of whom are new additions to the Blue & Gold Super League ranks for the 2024 season.

Pulse, who won the tri-tournament when it was last staged in December 2022, include Vitality Roses legend Jade Clarke in their squad as well as England Thorns men’s player Lewis Keeling.

There are a couple of familiar faces in a Stars squad which features former Team Bath centre Jess Shaw and ex-NPL player Ella Powell-Davies.

Doors open at 1pm and fans attending the tri-tournament are reminded that it is unreserved seating. Entry is by ticket only and no tickets will be available on the door.
