More tickets on sale as Blue & Gold look to finish NXT Gen League home campaign on a high against Dragons

Team Bath Netball are determined to finish their 2026 NXT Gen League home campaign on a high note when they welcome LexisNexis Dragons to the Team Bath Arena on Saturday (16th May).

The Blue & Gold will once again be cheered on by another big crowd with an additional stand being opened to accommodate the demand for tickets. Centre-pass is 3pm and remaining seats, priced from £12 to £20, are available to purchase by clicking here.

It has been a frustrating season for Team Bath in terms of results and injuries but the performance level has been high in recent weeks and experienced mid-courter Ellie Ervine says they want to end the campaign strongly.

“We haven’t got the results that we wanted but we go into every game thinking afresh and ready to push on,” she told BBC Radio Somerset.

“We need to make sure we are proud of each performance and each other, to not be disappointed when we walk off that court even if we are the wrong side of the scoreline. Those are the main things we are aiming for – the small wins and building the foundations for next season.”

Ervine was also quick to thank the supporters who have provided outstanding backing for Team Bath throughout the season, saying: “The Blue & Gold fans are just the best in the world. The fan base that was there when we were in the Super League, they still want to watch and enjoy live, high-level netball and they have really turned out for us.”

Team Bath won their last home match in front of a capacity crowd, against Leeds Rhinos, and go into this weekend’s fixture on the back of two good performances on the road against title-chasing opposition.

After picking up a bonus point from a narrow 55-51 defeat at London Mavericks, the Blue & Gold travelled to the Midlands to face a Birmingham Panthers side who had won eight consecutive matches since losing at the Team Bath Arena back in early March.

There was very little between the teams in the first half, Mavericks edging the opening quarter 22-19 before the sides scored 12 apiece in the second period to make it 34-31 at the interval.

The third quarter proved to be decisive as the hosts stretched the gap to 56-47 but Team Bath kept battling and the fourth quarter again finished all square at 15-15 as Mavericks completed a 71-62 victory.

Team Bath Netball are supported by Bath Building Society and Rengen Developments, who are both overall Team Bath Partners, and Bath Recreation LimitedFlyhawk supply Team Bath Netball’s performance clothing and off-court apparel.
