Team Bath Netball NXT Gen star Alanna Pullen joining Birmingham Panthers for 2026 Super League season

Team Bath Netball NXT Gen League star Alanna Pullen has followed up her Netball World Youth Cup selection by being awarded a 2026 Super League contract by Birmingham Panthers.

It comes after a standout season in Blue & Gold for the dynamic attacking mid-courter, who started every game as Team Bath finished runners-up in the inaugural NXT Gen League campaign.

Pullen – a Sports Performance student supported by an Alumni Fund Scholarship – also excelled for the University of Bath‘s student netball squad, helping them reach the 2025 BUCS National Championships final, and was last week selected in the England U21 squad for September’s Netball World Youth Cup in Gibraltar.

Natalie Roddy, joint Head Coach of Team Bath’s NXT Gen League squad, said: “The Team Bath ethos has always been to develop players to the very highest standard and we are incredibly proud to see Alanna make the well-deserved step up to Super League.

“We will miss her dynamism and flair but Alanna has worked so hard for this and has earned every opportunity. We are excited to see her flourish.”

Pullen is the third current sporting scholar to be awarded a Super League contract for the 2026 season, with Sophie Kelly (Management, Bill Whiteley Scholar) and Jayda Pechova (Sports Performance, Trendell Scholar) recommitting to London Pulse and Nottingham Forest respectively.
