Team Bath NXT Gen stars and sporting scholars named in England training squad for 2025 Netball World Youth Cup

Team Bath Netball duo Phoebe Maslen and Alanna Pullen (pictured) have been named in the England U21 training squad preparing towards the 2025 Netball World Youth Cup in Gibraltar.

The mid-courters are joined by former Blue & Gold Super League players Sophie Kelly and Jayda Pechova who, like Pullen, are sporting scholars at the University of Bath.

Pullen, Kelly and Pechova have also been named in the Future Roses programme for the 2025-26 season, along with former Team Bath defender Molly Hole.

The World Youth Cup is taking place from 19th to 28th September and is the first to be contested since 2017, when an England squad featuring several Team Bath players and coaches won bronze.

Among the players was future senior World Cup silver-medallist Imogen Allison who is one of three University of Bath graduates – the others being Tash Pavelin and Paige Reed – named in Jess Thirlby’s Vitality Roses programme for 2025-26.
