VIDEO: Cracking comeback sees Team Bath Netball vanquish Dragons to continue winning start to NXT Gen League season

A fantastic final quarter saw Team Bath Netball turn a narrow deficit into an eight-goal home victory over Cardiff Dragons as they continued their winning start to the 2025 NXT Gen League season.

After leading from the front in their opening match against Nottingham Forest, the Blue & Gold this time showed their ability to come from behind after a slow start saw them trail 15-10 at the end of the first quarter.

The next two quarters saw Team Bath gradually work their way back into the game, capitalising on some excellent defending – particularly from Wales international Poppy Tydeman, who made six gains – to cut the gap to 37-35.

With a vocal crowd roaring them on, Team Bath completed the turnaround as player of the match Scarlett Creasey produced some crucial intercepts in the final quarter to swing the game firmly in their favour. With shooter Lily Jones again converting 92 per cent of her shots, they went on to record a well-earned 52-44 victory.

All 12 players once again got out on court for Team Bath, who gained 20 turnovers during a hard-working team display.
