Coaching greats Jess Thirlby and Anna Stembridge back on the Blue & Gold benches for Team Bath Netball All-Stars celebration match

Team Bath Netball coaching greats Jess Thirlby and Anna Stembridge will be back on the bench at the Team Bath Arena this Friday after being confirmed as the coaches for the All-Stars celebration match.

Thirlby and Stembridge, present and past England head coaches respectively, famously forged a successful coaching partnership together with Team Bath but will be on opposition sides for one night only as a Blue team take on a Gold team.

The duo – recent inductees into the University of Bath Hall of Fame for Sport – will be joined on the benches by Ursula “Billy” Pritchard (nee Bowers), captain of Team Bath’s first Super League winning side in 2005-06, and current Academy Head Coach Natalie Roddy along with former Team Manager Sophie Warner, current Team Manager Tracey Phillips and former Franchise Manager Alicia John.

The involvement of Thirlby and Bowers means that seven of the inaugural Super League championship-winning squad will be back at the Team Bath Arena on Friday 21st June (7pm centre-pass).

Rachel Dunn, Clare Elsley, Asha Francis, Tamsin Greenway and Jo Vann will all wear the famous Blue & Gold once again alongside fellow returning stars Summer Artman, Anya Le Monnier, Mia Ritchie, Amanda Varey, Chani Wopara and Commonwealth champion Eboni Usoro-Brown.

Tickets for the game, priced £15 for adults and £5 concessions, are selling fast – click here to purchase.
