Trailblazing champions among Team Bath Netball legends back in Blue & Gold for All-Stars celebration match – tickets on sale now

A host of iconic players from Team Bath Netball’s storied past will be donning the famous Blue & Gold once again on Friday 21st June for an All-Stars match celebrating the franchise’s trailblazing contribution to the sport.

Rachel Dunn, Clare Elsley, Tamsin Greenway, Jo Vann and current Head Coach Asha Francis, who all helped Team Bath win the inaugural Super League title during the 2005-06 season, are among the returning stars taking to the Team Bath Arena court (7pm centre-pass).

Commonwealth champion Eboni Usoro-Brown, Summer Artman, Mia Ritchie and Amanda Varey are other stars so far confirmed for the game, along with two players who went on to join the current coaching staff – Anya Le Monnier and Chani Wopara.

They will take to the court alongside the 15 players in Team Bath’s current – and last-ever – extended Super League squad for one final match at the Team Bath Arena.

Tickets for the All-Stars game, priced £15 for adults and £5 concessions, are on sale now – click here to purchase – and Francis is looking forward to experiencing the Team Bath Arena roar once again.

“Team Bath may not be moving forward as a Super League franchise but we are delighted we have this opportunity to say a proper goodbye to the fans who have given us so much,” she said.

“We’ve enjoyed so many unforgettable moments together at the Team Bath Arena during the past two decades and it was important we had the opportunity to celebrate everything this incredible club has achieved both on and off the court.

“Thank you to all the past players and coaches who have agreed to take part. It demonstrates just what Team Bath means to them and the impact it has had on so many people over the years.”

The match will be played over six 10-minute periods, rather than four quarters, and will see a Blue team take on a Gold team. Both will feature a mix of current and past players. Details of the coaches for both teams will be revealed shortly.

Team Bath Netball is supported by Bath Building Society and Rengen Developments, who are both overall Team Bath Partners. Flyhawk supply Team Bath’s performance clothing and off-court apparel.
