Double delight for Team Bath Netball NPL sides as U19s and U21s both win at Wasps

Team Bath Netball’s NPL teams got back to winning ways in fine style on Saturday as they recorded a double victory against Wasps.

First up were the U19s (pictured top), who took on a home side that started the day second in the table. However, a brilliant performance from the Blue & Gold saw them inflict only a second defeat of the season on Wasps as they ran out 43-37 winners.

The U21s – coached by Natalie Roddy and Anya Le Monnier, who made her Superleague debut for Team Bath later that evening – were next on court and got off to a strong start at the CBS Arena, leading 26-19 at half-time.

Wasps pushed in the third and fourth quarters but the Blue & Gold were able to keep them at bay and come away with a 46-42 victory.

Next up for both the U21s and U19s is a trip to Maiden Castle in Durham on Saturday 2nd April to face North East before the league seasons conclude on Saturday 9th April with matches against London Pulse during a day of centralised fixtures at the University of Nottingham.
