Wales call on Blue & Gold shooter Betsy Creak for important year of Commonwealth Games and Netball World Cup qualification

Team Bath Netball shooter Betsy Creak has been named in the Wales squad for the 2021 season.

It is a big year ahead for Creak and her international colleagues, with qualification for both the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games and 2023 Netball World Cup to be won.

Creak made her Wales debut in 2019 after successfully trialling while playing club netball for Premier Romans in Bristol, and it was during that summer international series that her raw talent caught the attention of Blue & Gold Superleague Head Coach Anna Stembridge.

She went on to join the Team Bath Superleague squad and made her debut in the first match of the truncated 2020 season before becoming a regular member of the match-day 12 during this campaign.

Also selected in the Wales squad are former Team Bath Superleague players Kyra Jones and Leila Thomas, plus Shona O’Dwyer and Ella Powell-Davies who represented the Blue & Gold at NPL level.
