Imogen Allison

• 

• Imogen has established herself as one of netball’s most outstanding young prospects since joining Team Bath in September 2016 and made her senior England Roses debut during the Autumn 2020 tour of New Zealand. She is part of England’s Vitality Roses programme for the 2020-21 season having previously been a member of the England Futures squad while combining netball with studying Sports & Exercise Science at the University of Bath, graduating in the summer of 2016. Imogen, who helped England U21s win bronze at the 2017 Netball World Youth Cup in Botswana, was shortlisted for the 2019 Superleague Young Player of the Year award after an excellent season that also saw her captain the Blue & Gold for the first time during an away victory at Strathclyde Sirens.

Summer Artman

• 

• England defender Summer is in her second spell with Team Bath having returned for the 2019 season, five years after gaining her first Superleague experience with the Blue & Gold. A former pupil at King Edward’s School in Bath, Summer came through the Team Bath Talent Development Centre before breaking into the Superleague squad in 2014 at the age of just 16. She then spent three seasons combining her studies at Brunel University with starring for Saracens Mavericks before returning to her West Country roots following her graduation in Psychology. Summer is a full international with the Vitality Roses and also helped England U21s win bronze at the 2017 Netball World Youth Cup in Botswana. Off court, she is currently remotely studying for a Masters degree in Cultural & Global Mental Health at Queen Mary University of London and doing assistant psychology work with pupils at Aspire Academy in Bath.

Kim Borger

• 

• Australian shooter Kim has quickly established herself as a Blue & Gold favourite and was named as players’, coaches’ and fans’ Player of the Year following an outstanding debut season in 2019 before captaining Team Bath during the curtailed 2020 campaign. She has brought plenty of experience to the Team Bath attack having played for NSW Swifts in the ANZ Championships and Melbourne Vixens in Suncorp Super Netball. She also won the 2009 World Youth Championships title with Australia U21 and was named as Most Valuable Player in the Victorian Netball League during 2018.

Betsy Creak

• Betsy is back for a second season in Blue & Gold having made her Superleague debut during the curtailed 2020 campaign. The talented shooter has enjoyed a rapid rise since catching the eye with some impressive performances for Wales during their summer series of internationals in 2019. Prior to that she had played student netball for the University of Bristol and for Premier Romans in National League Premier 1 before deciding to trial – successfully – for Wales. A former track and field athlete, Betsy taught Biology at Badminton School near Bristol.

Chartie Curtis

• 

• Former England U19 captain Chartie is back for a second Superleague season in the Blue & Gold, having made her top-flight debut in 2019. Her season was cut short by an anterior cruciate ligament knee injury but she is back to full fitness and, during a placement year as part of her Economics degree course at the University of Bath, spent the 2020 Superleague campaign with Surrey Storm. Chartie, who is supported in her student-athlete career by a Santander Sporting Scholarship, has previously captained Team Bath U21s as well as England U19s during a tour of Australia. She has also represented England at U17 and U21 level, winning the European Championships.

Sophie Drakeford-Lewis

• 

• Sophie is regarded as one of the game’s most exciting young attacking talents and now has five senior England caps after impressing for the Roses during the Autumn 2020 tour of New Zealand. She is in her fourth season with the Blue & Gold and was named as the Superleague’s Young Player of the Year in 2019. She had previously been shortlisted for the honour after a brilliant debut season in 2017 while playing for Mavericks. A county-level tennis player, Sophie combines netball with studying Integrated Mechanical & Electrical Engineering at the University of Bath and is supported by a Bill Whiteley Sports Scholarship.

Layla Guscoth

• 

• England defender Layla is back for a second spell in Blue & Gold having previously starred for Team Bath during the 2017 and 2018 seasons, being named in the Superleague team of the year both times. Her performances were all the more impressive as she was combining netball with a demanding off-court career as a trainee doctor. After completing her two-year Foundation postgraduate medical training programme, Layla took the opportunity to play professionally in Australia for Adelaide Thunderbirds in Suncorp Super Netball before returning to Bath. Layla, a Superleague champion with Mavericks in 2011 and Superleague Player of the Year in 2014, has 26 caps for England and was part of the Roses squad that won bronze at the 2019 Netball World Cup. Away from the court, Layla – who studied Medicine at Oxford University – is a Doctor at the Royal United Hospital (RUH) in Bath and was named among the Daily Telegraph’s Sportswomen of the Year in 2020 for her work with the NHS during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Serena Guthrie

• 

• One of the world’s great mid-court players, Serena returns to the Blue & Gold for the 2021 Superleague season after taking a break from netball in 2020. Her prodigious talent first earned Serena a place in the Team Bath Superleague squad in 2006-07 when she was still studying for her A-levels. She won the title in her first season and went on to claim three more crowns during the next eight years before heading a successful four-year spell playing professionally in New Zealand and Australia, with Northern Mystics and Sydney-based Giants Netball respectively. On the international stage, Serena - who returned to Team Bath in 2019 - had played for England at U17, U19, U21 and senior level by the age of 17 and won her 100th cap for the Roses during the Autumn 2020 tour of New Zealand. After helping them claim bronze at both the 2011 and 2015 World Netball Championships, she was a driving force behind England’s famous Commonwealth Games triumph in 2018.

Kirsty Harris

• Wing-attack Kirsty has become the latest talented player to progress through the Team Bath Netball youth ranks and into the Superleague squad after being selected for the 2021 season. She first joined Team Bath’s prolific Academy pathway programme in 2015 and has worn their famous colours at U17, U19 and U21 level, as well as represent the University of Bath in BUCS [British Universities & Colleges Sport] competition while studying Sports Performance. She was also a training associate with the Superleague squad during the 2020 season. After graduating from university in the summer of 2020, Kirsty is an assistant PE teacher at St Helen & St Katharine School in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.

Hannah Passmore

• 

• Shooting star Hannah was the first player born in the current millennium to be selected for the Team Bath Superleague squad and is now in her third season of top-flight netball. The former Millfield School student has been part of the Blue & Gold’s talent development pathway for a number of years and is also an integral part of the club’s U21 squad, which she co-captained during the 2019-20 season. Hannah is in the first year of a Criminology degree course at the University of Bath, where she is supported by a Buchan Jones Sporting Scholarship.

Tash Pavelin

• 

• Defender Tash is back for a third season in the Team Bath Superleague squad having previously worn the Blue & Gold in both 2018 and 2020, starting all three games in the latter curtailed season and catching the eye with some excellent performances. She spent 2019 on work placement with pharmaceutical giants Pfizer, during which time she trained with Saracens Mavericks and represented their U21s in NPL competition having captained Team Bath at that level in 2017. Tash, who has represented England at the U17 and U21 Netball Europe events, graduated from the University of Bath with a Natural Sciences degree in the summer of 2020 and now works full-time at an accountancy firm in Bath.

Abi Robson

• 

• Defender Abi is now in her fourth season in the Team Bath Superleague squad having progressed through the Blue & Gold youth ranks. She first wore the famous Blue and Gold colours in the 2012/13 season and represented the franchise in both the U19 and U21 NPL competitions before being rewarded for her excellent performances in both with a place at the highest level of the domestic game. Abi, who has helped England win the Netball Europe title at both U17 and U21 level, is a teaching assistant at Monkton Combe School in Bath having graduated with first-class honours in Geography at the University of the West of England in Bristol during the summer of 2020.

Jess Shaw

• England Futures player Jess is back for a second spell in Blue & Gold having previously worn the famous colours during the 2017 and 2018 seasons. The talented attacking mid-courter had previously played for former franchise Yorkshire Jets before spending the last two seasons gaining more top-flight experience with Loughborough Lightning. Jess, younger sister of fellow Team Bath player Rachel, was one of the first players to be selected for the full-time England Netball world-class training programme when it launched in the summer of 2016 and helped England U21 win bronze at the 2017 Netball World Youth Cup in Botswana.

Rachel Shaw

• Rachel has firmly established herself as one of Team Bath’s key attacking talents and is lining up for her eighth season in Blue & Gold in 2021. Having made her Superleague debut aged just 16 with previous club Yorkshire Jets, her initial career at Team Bath was hampered by injury but she has put those problems well behind her and was voted as Player of the Season by her team-mates in 2017. She has also represented England at U17, U19, U21 and senior level. A former netball coach at the Royal High School for Girls in Bath, Rachel is now a member of the Team Bath coaching set-up with primary responsibility for the University of Bath student squad in the national BUCS [British Universities & Colleges Sport] competition.

Eboni Usoro-Brown

• 

• Eboni, part of England’s winning team at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, is one of the most decorated players in Team Bath’s history having won four Superleague titles during her first spell from 2006 to 2012. She also enjoyed a successful four-year stint in the professional ANZ Championship in Australia before returning to the Blue & Gold in 2016. A bronze-medallist at the 2011, 2015 and 2019 Netball World Cups, as well as the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games, Eboni – who has more than 100 caps for the Roses – struck gold in 2018 as she played a key role in England's historic Gold Coast Commonwealth Games success in Australia. She was inducted into the England Netball Hall of Fame in December 2020. Away from the court, Eboni is a solicitor for a law firm in Bristol having completed her training with Mogers Drewett in Bath.
