Glasgow 2026 provides invaluable international experience for Team Bath Netball’s Poppy Tydeman and Lowri Windsor

It was a week of incredible and invaluable experience on the international stage forย Team Bath Netball duo Poppy Tydeman and Lowri Windsor at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.

Team Wales had to settle for 10th place overall but both Blue & Gold NXT Gen League stars made an impact on their first appearances at the competition.

Tydeman, the Team Bath Fans’ NXT Gen Player of the Year, featured at wing-defence in all six matches, while Windsor earned her first three senior caps – with two of those matches coming against semi-finalists New Zealand and Jamaica.

The 19-year-old wing-attack made her international bow in Wales’ only Pool B victory, proving 23 goal assists in a 74-30 success against Trinidad and Tobago.

Natalie Roddy, joint head coach of Team Bath’s NXT Gen League squad, was assistant to former Blue & Gold coach Emily Handyside in Scotland.
