Team Bath Netball announce new Athlete Development Centre partnership with Canford School

Team Bath Netball is delighted to announce a new partnership with Canford School, who will join the Team Bath Netball Athlete Development Centre (ADC) network as the new host location for the Dorset-based ADC.

Canford School is a leading co-educational boarding and day school for pupils aged 13–18, recently recognised as the top school of its kind in the region in the Sunday Times Parent Power 2025 guide. With sport sitting firmly at the heart of a Canford education, the school is committed to inspiring every pupil to reach their full potential while fostering a lifelong commitment to physical wellbeing.

This new partnership reflects a strong alignment in values, with both organisations sharing an ambition to strengthen and sustain the netball pathway across the South West. Together, Team Bath Netball and Canford School are committed to ensuring talented players have access to expert coaching, clear progression routes, and the resources needed to reach their potential. With access to Canford’s outstanding facilities now confirmed, Team Bath Netball will be able to continue delivering high-quality coaching and development opportunities for talented netballers in Dorset and the surrounding areas.

Canford School will now join a network of nine other Team Bath Netball ADC locations across the South West. The ADC network provides young netballers aged 14–17 with weekly access to top-class coaching plus lifestyle and sports science support, setting up crucial foundations as they begin their journeys on the Team Bath Netball pathway.

Commenting on the new partnership, Tony Diprose, Director of Sport & Physical Wellbeing at Canford School, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to partner with Team Bath as their new Dorset ADC. It’s a privilege to support a club with such a rich history and deep roots in the South West. We’re excited about what lies ahead and proud to play a role in developing the next generation of home-grown, high-performance netballers.”

Emily Siddy, Netball Manager at Team Bath Netball, added: “We’re thrilled to welcome Canford School into the Team Bath Netball ADC network. This partnership will play an important role in our ability to continue to provide talented netballers in Dorset local access to the resources and coaching that will enable them to set their foundations as they look to progress through our pathway.”
