Blue & Gold supporters enjoy meet and greet with Team Bath Netball Superleague stars as Fan Day kicks off 2020

Team Bath Netball supporters were able to get their New Year off to a memorable start by meeting the 2020 Superleague squad during a Fan Day at the University of Bath Sports Training Village on Saturday.

Players took part in a meet and greet, followed by a lively question and answer session, before posing for selfies with supporters and signing posters.

It was all part of a busy day of activities to kick off the new year, which began with a coaching session led by Team Bath Netball Superleague Head Coach Anna Stembridge and legendary Blue & Gold shooter Pamela Cookey.

A number of club and school coaches from across the South West region took the opportunity to gain an insight into how a Superleague training session is structured and delivered.

The day concluded with a training match between Team Bath and the Knights men’s netball team as the Blue & Gold continued their build-up to the 2020 Superleague campaign.

There are nine home matches at the Team Bath Arena during the regular league season, including the visit of reigning champions Manchester Thunder during the opening month on Monday, March 30.
