Imogen Allison

• 

• This is Imogen’s seventh Super League season in Blue & Gold, during which time she has progressed from one of the country’s most exciting young talents to an established member of the England squad. She made a huge impact on her Commonwealth Games debut at Birmingham 2022 and will be looking to secure her place at this summer’s Netball World Cup in South Africa having won bronze with England U21s at the World Youth Cup in 2017. Imogen – a Superleague Young Player of the Year nominee in 2019 – has been a mid-court regular for Team Bath since joining the club from Yorkshire Jets in September 2016 and captained them to British Fast5 All-Stars success in 2021. She studied Sports & Exercise Science at the University of Bath, graduating in 2020.

Summer Artman

• 

• Bristolian Summer is back for her third spell with Team Bath, a club she first represented as a schoolgirl. The defender progressed through the Team Bath Talent Development Centre before breaking into the Super League squad in 2014 at the age of just 16. She then spent three seasons combining her studies at Brunel University with starring for Saracens Mavericks before heading back to her West Country roots in 2019 following her graduation in Psychology. She helped Team Bath reach the 2021 Super League final and has returned to the Blue & Gold after spending 2022 with Severn Stars. Summer is a full international with the Vitality Roses and also helped England U21s win bronze at the 2017 Netball World Youth Cup in Botswana. Off the court, Summer – who studied a Masters degree in Cultural & Global Mental Health at Queen Mary University of London – is a Sexual Violence advisor, emotionally and practically supporting people who have experienced sexual abuse and helping them navigate the criminal justice system. She has previously done volunteer work with refugees in Levos, Greece.

Lily-May Catling

• 

• Dorset-born Lily-May is Team Bath captain for the 2023 Super League campaign, her second season back at the club where she played for the U19s and Academy before heading to Australia at the age of 19. What started as a backpacking adventure turned into a permanent stay for the versatile defender, who trained with Sunshine Coast Lightning and played for USC Thunder. Lily-May’s netball career brought her back to the UK in 2021 when she made her Super League debut with Wasps before returning to the Blue & Gold for the 2022 season.

Kadeen Corbin

• 

• Commonwealth champion Kadeen is back in the famous Blue & Gold for a third time. Her first spell, while studying Sports Performance at the University of Bath from 2010-2013, saw the talented attacker play a key role as Team Bath won the Super League title for a record fifth time in her final season. After spells with Mavericks and Loughborough Lightning, she spent 2016-17 with New Zealand’s Mainland Tactix in the professional ANZ Premiership before returning to Team Bath for the 2018 campaign, during which time she helped England win a historic gold medal at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games. The 72-cap international spent the past four seasons with Saracens Mavericks before bringing her vast experience back to Team Bath for 2023.

Betsy Creak

• 

• Betsy goes into her fourth season in Blue & Gold as vice-captain and off the back on an excellent Commonwealth Games debut with Wales. It was while making her international debut following successful trials in the summer of 2019 that she caught the eye of then Team Bath coach Anna Stembridge and made the step up to Super League from National League Premier 1 club netball with Premier Romans in Bristol. A talented shooter, she has also developed her skills at goal-attack during the past three seasons with Team Bath. Off the court, Betsy is Operations Coordinator for British Solar Renewables.

Bethan Dyke

• 

• Bethan arrives at Team Bath fresh from representing Wales at her third Commonwealth Games and helping the Feathers qualify for this summer’s Netball World Cup in South Africa. The attacking mid-courter excelled at Birmingham 2022, finishing in the tournament’s top 10 for assists as she built on an impressive Super League season with Severn Stars. She played all 18 matches for Stars in 2022 after making a strong comeback from an anterior cruciate ligament injury which cut short her 2021 campaign. Bethan – who represented Wales at U17, U19 and U21 level, and competed at the senior 2015 Netball World Cup – has also previously played Super League for Welsh franchise Celtic Dragons.

Kirsty Harris

• 

• After making her Super League debut in 2021, Kirsty enjoyed a major breakthrough during the 2022 season as she took her opportunity to become a regular starter at wing-attack. A string of impressive performances led to her being named as Most Improved Player in the club’s end-of-season awards. She first joined Team Bath’s prolific Academy pathway programme in 2015 and wore their famous colours at U17, U19 and U21 level, as well as represent the University of Bath in BUCS [British Universities & Colleges Sport] competition while studying Sports Performance. Since graduating from university in the summer of 2020, Kirsty is a PE teacher at St Helen & St Katharine School in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.

Lily Jones

• 

• Jersey-born shooter Lily is back for her second season as a Super League training partner having made a number of appearances in the match-day squad during the 2022 campaign. She is a graduate of the Team Bath Academy and made the step up to Super League level after impressing in training matches and excelling as captain of Team Bath U19s. Lily, who won 2021 British Fast5 All-Stars Championship gold on her senior Blue & Gold debut, is this year combining netball with studying Sports Performance at the University of Bath.

Sophie Kelly

• 

• Sophie is one of the most exciting young goal-attacks in the country having made her Super League debut for Surrey Storm aged just 16. She went on to make 19 appearances during 2021 and 2022 before moving to Team Bath for the 2023 campaign. She is combining her netball with studying Management at the University of Bath, where she is supported by a Bill Whiteley Sporting Scholarship. Sophie has been part of the Roses Academy squad since 2019 and has won Netball Europe gold with England at U17 and U21 level.

Phoebe Maslen

• 

• Mid-courter Phoebe, from Oxfordshire, is making her first appearance in a Super League squad after joining Team Bath as a training partner for the 2023 season. She has previously represented Wasps at NPL level and has been part of the Roses Academy since 2021, competing for the U19s in Netball Europe. Off the court, Phoebe is in her first year of studying Physiological Science at the University of Bristol.

Caroline Mtukule

• 

• Malawi Queens captain Caroline (known as Carol) joined Team Bath during the 2023 Super League season as an injury replacement for Tash Pavelin and made her debut during the home match against Surrey Storm. A veteran of four Netball World Cups (2007, 2011, 2015 and 2019) and five Commonwealth Games (2006, 2010, 2014, 2018 and 2022), the vastly-experience goal-defence fulfilled her ambition to play in an overseas domestic league when she signed for the Blue & Gold. She is the first Malawian to represent Team Bath and has previously captained Kukoma Diamonds to several Malawian national titles.

Annie O'Rourke

• 

• Versatile defender Annie officially steps up to the Team Bath Super League squad for the first time as a training partner having been a training associate during the 2022 season, when she experienced being part of a Team Bath match-day squad for the visit to Wasps. Annie is a graduate of the Team Bath Academy system and captained the U19 NPL side in 2019 before joining Celtic Dragons for the 2020 and 2021 Super League seasons, representing the Welsh franchise 14 times while studying Architecture at Cardiff University.

Hannah Passmore

• 

• Shooting star Hannah was the first player born in the current millennium to be selected for the Team Bath Super League squad and is now in her fifth season of top-flight netball. The England U21 international made her league debut during the 2021 campaign and, after returning from injury, enjoyed her first Super League start in the last home game of 2022 against Wasps, helping Team Bath secure their place in the semi-finals. The former Millfield School student has been part of the Blue & Gold’s talent development pathway for a number of years, playing NPL at U19 and U21 level, and is currently on a placement year for her Criminology degree course at the University of Bath, where she is supported by a Buchan Jones Sporting Scholarship.

Jayda Pechova

• 

• Exciting young defender Jayda Pechova goes into her first season at Team Bath with confidence high following an incredible 2022 that saw her make her Super League debut with London Pulse, represent England at senior level for the first time at the World Fast5 Championships in New Zealand, and be shortlisted for both the SportsAid One to Watch and BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year awards. Jayda, who also represented the Future Roses and England A in January 2023, helped England U21 to Netball Europe gold in 2021 and combines netball with studying Sports Performance at the University of Bath, where she is supported by a Trendell Sporting Scholarship.

Ali Wilshier

• 

• It is a first Super League season for mid-courter Ali, who is from New Zealand. She spent the past two seasons with Southern Steel in the ANZ Premiership, establishing a reputation as a ‘pocket rocket’ with speed and finesse around the attacking circle. National Netball League Player of the Year in 2019, Ali was also a training partner with Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic before playing overseas for the first time in Australia with USC Thunder in the 2020 Sapphire Series alongside current Team Bath team-mate Lily-May Catling.
