Blue & Gold agree three-year kit and merchandise partnership with leading sportswear manufacturer O’Neills

Team Bath Netball’s iconic Blue & Gold dresses will bear the O’Neills logo for the next three years following a new partnership between Britain’s most decorated Superleague franchise and Ireland’s largest sportswear manufacturer.

O’Neills, which celebrated its centenary last year, will provide kit for Team Bath’s netball players, coaches and staff at all levels – from developing stars in the Futures Pathway programme through to age-group squads in Netball Performance League (NPL) competition and on to the Superleague.

The company, which is a major supplier across a wide range of sports, will also provide an extensive range of replica kit and merchandise, allowing Blue & Gold supporters to proudly show their colours.

Team Bath Netball Franchise Manager Emily Harrison said: “We are delighted to welcome O’Neills to the Blue & Gold family and look forward to working with them over the next three years.

“The Blue & Gold dress is famous in both the netballing and wider sports community, with a host of international stars having worn it over the years. The kit designs that O’Neills have produced reflect that history and ethos, and we can’t wait to see our players take to the court in them.”

O’Neills employs more than 700 people in Ireland and is a vertically integrated company, converting yarn into fabric in its own plants before transferring to its print and sewing units to be made into garments.

UK Sales Manager Susie Robertson said: “O’Neills are absolutely delighted to have the opportunity to partner with Team Bath Netball as their official kit and merchandise supplier for the coming three years.

“Our design team have been working closely with Team Bath to ensure we suitably reflect their heritage and status within the netball world and hope to be in a position, as a vertically integrated manufacturer and supplier, to bring some innovative design ranges to the partnership over the coming years which can be enjoyed both players and supporters alike.”

Team Bath will wear the new O’Neills Blue & Gold dresses for the first time at the British Fast5 Netball All-Stars Championships in London’s Copper Box Arena on Saturday, October 12. Tickets are on sale now at http://www.fast5allstars.com/
