Lucky young fans enjoy training day with Blue and Gold Superleague stars

Two lucky young fans experienced life as Superleague netballers recently after winning a competition to train with Team Bath Netball’s star-studded squad.

Molly Goult, who plays for Team Bath’s U14A side, and friend Hannah Holness got to meet and chat to their favourite players before joining in a fun warm-up session.

They then took part in drills and skills training before spending time with coaches Anna Stembridge and Jess Thirlby as they ran the more intensive part of the training session, gaining a first-hand insight into what it takes for players to prepare to Superleague standard.

Molly and Hannah enjoyed the money-can’t-buy experience after Julia Hill, Molly’s mum, won a prize draw for ticket holders at last season’s unforgettable Wasps home game.

Team Bath Netball Head Coach Thirlby said: “It was lovely to welcome Molly and Hannah to our training session. I hope they learned a lot from the experience and, most importantly, had as much fun during the evening as the players and coaches did meeting them.”
