Aspire to be a Team Bath Netball star? Try out for our new Futures academy programme

Young players who aspire to wear the famous Blue & Gold of Team Bath Netball are being invited to apply for the franchise’s new performance pathway for the 2017-18 season.

The Team Bath Futures programme, covering age-groups from U15 to U21, will comprise of training academies and hubs across the South West, providing top-class development and playing opportunities for talented youngsters throughout the region.

Team Bath Futures Academies have been established in Bristol and Exeter, with additional training hubs in Cornwall, Dorset and South Gloucestershire.

A Futures talent screening day is taking place at the University of Exeter Sports Park on Monday, July 24 (9.30am-4pm), open to netballers who will be in Years 10-12 at school during the 2017-18 academic year.

Applicants should currently be playing at regional club U16, senior regional club level or above. However, netballers outside these requirements that demonstrate potential for the Academy programme will be invited to the screening day.

The screening day will be followed by a meeting from 4.30-6pm where teachers and coaches at clubs or academies in the region can find out more about the Team Bath Netball Futures programme.
