Team Bath Netball seek coaches, manager and players for NPL U19 squad

Team Bath Netball are accepting applications for three major coaching roles with the National Performance League (NPL) U19 squad.

An open trial will also be taking place for the playing side in October for young netballers who think they have what it takes to represent the Blue and Gold.

A Head Coach, Assistant Coach and Manager are being sought for the NPL squad, who will compete in a ten-team league between January and April 2017.

Home matches are likely to be played at the University of Bath Sports Training Village (STV) and the season will conclude with a three-day residential competition in August or September 2017 at a venue to be decided.

Training is anticipated to take place at the STV from 7-9.30pm on Tuesdays, starting in November. Anyone interested in the coaching positions should request an application form from the Team Bath Netball Coordinator via netball@bath.ac.uk – the closing date for applications is 5pm on Monday, October 10.

Any players wishing to be considered for the NPL squad are invited to an open trial at the STV on Tuesday, October 25 from 5-10pm. Based on performances that day, there will be further invitational trials on October 27, from 4-7.30pm, and November 1, from 8-10pm.

Players must currently be playing within a junior regional team or performing in another sport at that level, and must have been born after December 31, 1997.

To secure a place at the trials, email netball@bath.ac.uk and ask for a registration form.
