Team Bath join forces with Goalden Globes to celebrate netball in South West

Team Bath Netball’s end-of-season awards will this year be bigger and better than ever as they form part of a region-wide celebration of the sport at all levels.

The annual dinner, which reflects on Team Bath’s achievements in the Vitality Netball Superleague and Netball Performance League (NPL), will take place alongside the England Netball and Netball South West Goalden Globes Awards.

The Goalden Globes celebrate the hard work and dedication of netball officials, coaches, young volunteers and administrators from the South West.

Nominations are now being accepted in eight regionals categories – Grassroots Coach Award, Grassroots Officials Award, Muriel McNally Grassroots Award, Mary Bulloch Administrator Award, Teacher Award, Young Volunteer Award, Outstanding Netball Club Award and Unsung Hero Award. The winners will go forward to the National Goalden Globe Awards taking place in September.

Team Bath’s own Superleague and NPL awards will also be handed out on the day, with fans having chance to meet the players.

The dinner is taking place at Somerset County Cricket Club in Taunton on Sunday, May 22 from 11.30am to 4.30pm. Tickets, which includes a two-course buffet meal, are priced £25 for adults and £15 for under-16s.
