Trip to Wales and two home matches in busy week for Team Bath Netball

Team Bath Netball head to Wales this weekend for the first of three big Vitality Netball Superleague matches in six days.

Saturday’s match against Celtic Dragons (4pm) will take place at Cwmbran Stadium after the Welsh franchise’s regular home venue of Ebbw Vale Leisure Centre was damaged during Storm Imogen.

Dragons, who are looking for their first win of the season, have a familiar face in their ranks in mid-courter Kyra Jones – she played for Team Bath last season.

Highlights from the game – which also sees Blue and Gold shooter Chelsea Lewis (pictured) return to her former club – will be shown on S4C at 5pm on Sunday (Virgin TV – 166, Freesat – 120, Sky – 134, online – click here).

Team Bath then have back-to-back home matches against rivals for a top-four place. Hertfordshire Mavericks are the visitors on Monday, 48 hours after their clash with fellow unbeaten side Manchester Thunder.

Loughborough Lightning then head to the Team Bath Arena next Friday (March 4) in what will be former England captain Jade Clarke’s last game before heading to Australia to join Adelaide Thunderbirds in the ANZ Championship.

The Mavericks and Lightning matches both start at 7.45pm, with doors open from 6.45pm. Tickets are available by clicking here or calling 0844 888 4412.
