Team Bath Netball thank backers Carter Jonas and unveil fashionable new kit for 2016 Superleague

Team Bath Netball players visited the city-centre offices of Carter Jonas this week to thank the estate agents for its continued support – and unveil their fashionable new kit.

Carter Jonas will once again be Team Bath’s property partner during the 2016 Vitality Netball Superleague season after extending a partnership that first began three years ago.

Chartered Surveyor Rupert Allsop said: “Carter Jonas is delighted to continue its sponsorship of Team Bath Netball. It was great to see the players and we wish the team the best of luck during what we are sure will be another exciting Superleague season.”

The visit also gave Team Bath players – including new recruits Karla Mostert, Lenize Potgieter, Laura Rudland and Nicole Humphrys – the chance to unveil their new kit for 2016.

Team Bath goal-shooter Shaunagh Craig worked with Surridge, the franchise’s official kit supplier, to design a dress that incorporated the city’s iconic Gorgon’s head into the famous Blue and Gold to clearly show the team’s links to Bath and the University.

The dress also has cleaner, sleeker lines through use of a breathable, quick-drying fabric in the side panels.

“There is no longer a distinction between activewear and fashion,” said Craig. “We wanted to show that in this kit, which is both fashion forward and fit for performance.”

Team Bath will be in action at the University of Bath on Saturday when they host reigning Superleague champions Surrey Storm and Hertfordshire Mavericks, last season’s runners-up, in an eagerly-awaited tri-tournament.

Three matches will be played during an action-packed afternoon at the University of Bath Sports Training Village and doors open at 1pm, with Team Bath facing Mavericks in the first match at 2pm.

Tickets are priced £10 for adults, £7 concessions and £28 for a family ticket. They can be purchased in advance at https://www.teambath.com/events/ticketline/ or are available from reception on the day.
