England Netball to play World Cup warm-up international at University of Bath

The University of Bath will once again play host to international netball when England begin their World Cup preparations with a three-match series against Trinidad & Tobago in May.

The opening encounter will take place at the Sports Training Village – home of Team Bath Netball – on Wednesday, May 6 (7.15pm).

The teams meet again two days later at the Copper Box Arena in London before the series concludes at the Echo Arena in Liverpool on Monday, May 11.

The Netball World Cup begins in Sydney, Australia in August and the Trinidad & Tobago matches will offer the first opportunity for England to prepare after the Superleague season concludes.

Ticket information will be released next week.

Team Bath Netball continue their Superleague season with a televised home game against defending champions Manchester Thunder on Monday. Doors open at 6.45pm and pre-match entertainment and warm-ups get under way at 7pm.
