Team Bath phase two Superleague fixtures announced

Team Bath’s netballers go into get their phase two campaign in the Fiat Superleague with a home fixture against Surrey Storm on Friday 16 March.

Team Bath’s 53-49 victory over Yorkshire Jets on Friday meant they secured a place in the top-four for the second phase of the Superleague.

That means sports fans can see a feast over the coming weeks as Team Bath host the three other top teams in the country.

Team Bath get their phase two campaign underway at home to Surrey Storm on Friday 16 March, which will be followed by home fixtures against Hertfordshire Mavericks on Thursday 29 March and Northern Thunder on Monday 30th April. A full phase two fixture list with home and away games will be published shortly.

“We’re not in the top-four to make up the numbers, we’re there to genuinely compete,” said Team Bath head coach Jess Garland. “Our first goal this season was to make the top-four and we’ve done that, now we need to make sure we finish the next phase in the top-three to guarantee a place in the semi-finals.”

Garland paid tribute to the role the Team Bath crowd have played in cheering the team on this season. “This season we’ve had the best crowds so far in terms of size, but also in terms of support and enthusiasm,” she said.

“On Friday we had the best atmosphere at a game that I can remember and the crowd made a real difference.”
