Eboni Beckford-Chambers played the first half at goal defence, before being replaced by Team Bath team-mate Stacey Francis, while Serena Guthrie featured for the final two quarters at wing attack.

England, who also feature former Team Bath players Rachel Dunn, Tamsin Greenway and Geva Mentor in their seven-strong squad, return to action tomorrow (Tuesday) against Barbados.

There was disappointment for another Team Bath player, Asha Tett, as her Singapore side went down 43-36 to Botswana in the opening game of the competition yesterday (Sunday).
