TeamBath aim to end Thunder’s 100 per cent start

Team Bath aim to end Northern Thunder’s 100 per cent start to the 2011 Fiat Netball Superleague when the two teams meet at the University of Bath Sports Training Village tonight (Monday).

Thunder have won all five of their Superleague games so far this season and are third in the table. Team Bath meanwhile have won five from six and are currently second, but with two games in hand on table-toppers Mavericks.

Team Bath and Northern Thunder meet at the Sports Training Village in tonight’s televised game, which will be shown as live on Sky Sports from Thursday (10 March). Check TV listings for details of Sky’s coverage.

Northern Thunder feature former Team Bath Superleague players Sara Bayman and Rachel Henry, both University of Bath graduates, as well as a third University of Bath graduate, Krystal Gayle, who played for Team Bath in the old Super Cup competition.

Tonight’s pre-match entertainment gets underway at 6.45pm.

TeamBath return to action on Friday 18 March with another big home game against Mavericks in a repeat of last season’s final.
