Severn Derby against Cardiff Met marks return of BUCS Super Rugby to University of Bath for 2018

17 January 2018

BUCS Super Rugby returns to the University of Bath for the first time in 2018 tonight (Wednesday) when high-flying Cardiff Met head to the Sports Training Village for an eagerly-awaited Severn Derby.

The Blue & Gold, sponsored by IKON Construction and supported by Investigo, will be looking to build on their encouraging pre-Christmas form that saw them win three and draw one of their last six matches to move up to sixth in the table.

Cardiff Met, meanwhile, start the year second in the table and just two points behind league leaders Exeter after winning eight of their ten matches so far, including a hard-fought 18-10 victory over Bath in October’s reverse fixture.

The match starts at 6.30pm on the Sports Training Village athletics in-field and admission is free.
